Ely Film, Art, & Music Festival’s 2023 Event Weekend was packed with so much to See, Hear, and Do, 

ALL within Historic venues, with terrific food, wonderful people, and memorable moments that celebrate a global reach through the expression of cinema, art, and music. Ely, Nevada is truly an international city with small town charm and high desert hospitality.

We’re planning on 2024 being event BIGGER!!

The Great Basin

          A Documentary film by Chivas DeVinck

From below the earth to the stars, The Great Basin, is a documentary feature that builds a complex panorama of rural Nevada, in the Western United States, through a tapestry of characters who work, live, and play there. The Great Basin is the location of the “Loneliest Road in America” and can be seen as a microcosm of the economic, social, and ecological marginalization of 21st-century rural communities.  

Ely Film, Art, & Music Festival VIP Pass Holders automatically gain engtry to special screenings of this film as well as every showing with Reserved Seating for VIP in the theater.

Festival Goers are also able to purchase single film showing tickets in advance or at the door prior to showings.

 The First 100 VIP’s get a ticket to ride Nevada Northern Railway’s Sunset, Stars, & Champagne Train at 6:30 pm, sharp – Saturday,  March 11, 2023.

VIP Passes and all Ely FAM Festival tickets go on sale beginning December 1st 2022.

A Local's Hollywood Success Story

Dutch Marich is a White Pine High School Graduate that is making a name for himself on the international cinema scene with his major motion picture series Horror in the High Desert and Horror in the High Desert 2. 

Filmed in Ely and White Pine County, The Ely Film, Art, and Music Festival is proud to feature our hometown Hollywood connection during a special Ely After Dark, late night scare fest.

Take a tour of Haunted locations at the Nevada Northern Railway after the sun goes down. Then come watch what has been reviewed as, “The scariest movie since “The Blair Witch Project.”
